I am passionately driven to help both brands and agencies determine “what’s next,” while dedicated to rolling up my sleeves in tackling the reality of today.
The traditional agency model is evolving, and the opportunities to think and act upstream require both thoughtful business and creative strategies. I have built a career on being that bridge. Applying my 15+ years of experience and perspective in helping shape marketing and creative advertising for global brands, I assist in strengthening existing client relationships, creating new business opportunities, and developing remarkable creative through focused outcome-based brand strategy, innovation, engagement, and empathy.
PERSONAL ME:
I can clearly link my love for creative storytelling back to one or two experiences in my early teens–although it probably manifested much earlier on a playground somewhere in Northern Virginia. Needless to say, to this day I still have a visceral memory of seeing “Peter” coming home for the holidays and brewing a pot of Folgers. Or again, a few years later, hearing Pink Moon by Nick Drake for the first time in a Volkswagen Cabrio commercial and thinking I had just discovered the meaning of life. The world of advertising has had its G.I. Joe kung fu grip on me ever since.
Fast forward two decades, six agencies, and three failed rock bands later; I still get goosebumps when I see something that makes me say, "How did they think of that," or more likely, "Why didn't I think of that?" It's engrained in my DNA, it's where I feel like I'm in my flow, and it's something that I'm confident companies and individual teams find value in. I've never been more excited to work in the world of branding and creativity, and can't wait for the next chapter in our industry.
